Required Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Good at computer science concepts.
  • Familiarity to operating system like Unix & Windows.
  • Should have background to application programming and systems.
  • Good understanding of software lifecycle from curriculum subjects.
  • Strong willingness to research and explore technologies in and around the product.
  • Should have good knowledge of curriculum and related subjects.

Desired Skills:

  • Hands on with Linux Shell Scripting.
  • Hands on with writing code/scripts using Java/Python or any other programming language.
  • Having background to modern computing concepts like Cloud, Containerization(Preferred with a knowledge of any of the cloud providers AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Familiarity to containerization platforms(Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts, TCP/IP and Sockets.
  • Background/interest to cryptography and information security concepts.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be required to thoroughly learn the product and its associated source code assigned to you by your teams.
  • Work in a fully efficient development environment to research/design/code/unit test/build/troubleshoot Protegrity products.
  • You will need to develop a very good understanding of the overall architecture of the product and be a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional in multiple time zones agile team.
  • You will be involved in developing & maintaining the product artifacts across product releases including but not limited to the design/architecture, source code, Unit tests, Build Scripts & Devops pipelines.
  • You should be able to assist in the rollout of software releases and provide required help on continuous integration.
